  • Alzheimer’s Australia

    Supporting the Caring for Cognitive Impairment campaign

    The growing number of people living with dementia in Australia poses a considerable challenge to health care, both now and in the future. Many people living with dementia have co-existing illnesses requiring hospitalisation. Alzheimer’s Australia is proud to support the Caring for Cognitive Impairment campaign to make hospitals safer and less confusing places for people living with dementia and to minimise harm.


  • Sydney North Health Network

    Better Journeys for People with Dementia in Northern Sydney

    A collaboration between the Northern Sydney Primary Health Network (NSPHN), Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), Alzheimer’s Australia NSW and Community Care Northern Beaches (CCNB)  and a consumer representative was formed in 2015.


  • Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network

    New England Dementia Partnership (February 2017)

    The New England Dementia Partnership is a collaboration between three of the leading health organisations in the New England North West region of NSW – HealthWISE New England North West, Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) and the Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN). The Partnership began in 2003 and its aim remains to: improve the health outcomes and quality of life for people living with dementia, their carers and families.


  • Dementia Training Australia

    Dementia Training Australia are pleased to support the Caring for Cognitive Impairment campaign in its efforts to improve knowledge and care practices to provide better outcomes and reduce the risk of harm to people with cognitive impairment in hospital. (more…)
